O-Week

For the past week I have been living on uni campus volunteering for UNSW OWeek. This involved standard things like running tour campuses and helping new students and other things I did not expect to be doing like 1. Spending an obscenely large amount of money on drinks at the dance party and going on drunken escapades in questionable locations on campus, 2. Supervising sumo wrestling and later being shamefully flattened when I decided to have a go, 3. Watching Bluejuice jump around and deliver an impressive set, 4. Drawing on people's faces for revenge and...
5. Being part of a human barricade trying to crowd control a group of some 1000+ people who had rocked up to see Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill promote the preview screening of 21 Jump St. Which by the way is an absolutely hilarious movie!
Also, I made the move up to Newcastle last night. Have settled in and am spending the majority of my time holed up in my room because it is the only familiar (and clean) place here in this house. I even brought up my collection of Angry Birds plush toys and Iron Gym chin up bar for company, I'm that cool.

Wow; it looks like you've been having a few, awesome busy days! I love how indistinct the first photo is! The ones I've tried to take are always blurry in that I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME HOLD MY CAMERA STEADY. (Or straight, for that matter.) So light always ends up being streaks. This, however, looks cool. It makes me want to rave. ...you, because I rave. ;)

Ohhhh my god. This looks like the best time ever. Plus, you got to meet Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill?! Why don't I ever get to see them in America? Oh right, they're too busy partying down under. Sigh. That's where the party's at apparently.
