R & I attempted to have a "food day" which whilst aiming to improve our culinary skills is really a day where we try and make food which won't kill anyone. He has a more "creative" approach (experimentation and imagination will surely end up in an amazing kick-ass creation) while I stick to the recipe like glue to minimise the chance of a food poisoning fatality, or even worse, shitty tasting food. So of course some time was spent arguing.Yum. |
Speaking of solid, an attempt at tiramisu flopped (literally). I am warning you in advance the picture is not appealing (why i've made it tiny), but it's tiramisu halfway through being finished. SEE RIGHT.
The final product doesn't taste all that bad but it has the consistency of soggy cereal. Too bad we made 2kgs of it...
