This is a continuation of the post I did way back in August HERE. I never got around to posting the rest of the photos (and come to think of it, the bulk of the photos I took last year...) but BETTER LATE THAN NEVER, right?

For some reason, this is one of my favourites. The one above with the man I mean, not the churros one below. Nat Geo feel anyone?

 | Eating Churros in Federation Square |

 | Kids playing with pillows (?) in Fed Square |

 | Some shots inside ACMI|

Some of my favourite laneway art that Melb is famous for:

Attempting not to look like a tourist

Graffiti in action

Another favourite and yes that is Richard

Another favourite: guys spraypainting

Funnily enough, this is the next street over
Street corner

Busking

View from one of the restaurants we had dinner at

This made me laugh so hard!

Storefronts
Inside a Candy Store

Cybersex! Crazy Horse!

How awesome is this lady's outfit? Down to the vintage suitcase. One of my favourite memories is sitting in one of the many cafes that are literally spilling out of the laneway walls and just people-watching.

One of our breakfasts

A tram.

And a completely unrelated, obligatory mirror shot:

So if there are 3 things I remember vividly from the Melbourne trip they are:

 1. "Pre-drinking" in preparation to go out and hit some bars/clubs one night only to get so drunk we could not get past the door and instead passed out spread-eagled on the bed at 9pm. While Spiderman was playing on TV.
 2. Visiting the seedy Crazy Horse (see one of the photos above), because why ever not (my idea, not his) and $2 peep-shows sounded extremely entertaining at the time. It was a lot less entertaining than I expected.
 3. Rummaging through every shoe store in Melbourne on the hunt for the perfect black ankle boots. Did not find them. Instead, bought $400 thigh high suede boots...that were discounted to $35! Versatile, I know.
Other than that, we watched Annie the musical, ate a whole lot of good food,  did the tourist-haunts and some shopping (I would say it's quite a lot better than shopping in Sydney) and just absorbed the slightly bohemian vibe. Check out the rest of my trip HERE.

Also, on a side note, we stayed at City Tempo; I would highly recommend it if you're ever visiting- it's super affordable, chic and within walking distance to everywhere (and it has great reviews).

As per usual, tell me what you think in the comments below; which photo is your favourite?

P.S. If you see bits of this blog disappearing or moving around; ignore. Still working on tweaking.
P.P.S. Thanks so much for all the lovely comments in the previous post :)

 6. Such beautiful photos, as usual! I love Melbourne. It has such a great culture, and it's my favourite city in Australia. I'd love to live there one day. Love all the street art/cafe/food shots, but the top photo for me kind of fits so perfectly with the 'Melbourne' I have in my head, I'm not sure why.
