I feel like I've been jipped. It is supposed to be spring here, and unless that means gale force winds, constant rain and sub 20 degrees temp, the weather is being seriously un-Australian.

What a mood-dampener. (har har)

Feeling uninspired for the the past couple of weeks; I checked my camera to see what I had been up to and this was all I found. I feel like the scene in American Beauty where they watch the ridiculous video of the plastic bag floating around in the wind- minus the mind-blowing epiphany. So please bear with me and my pseudo-meaningful photos of windows and doors...

ANYWHO, we held a BBQ in the rain at uni this week for my society. You'd be surprised at the joy one feels whilst poking at wet sausages, whilst standing in a puddle, whilst holding an umbrella. Passerbys did indeed applaud our determination. That would pretty much be the pinnacle of my week, the rest has been kind of downhill partly due to exam period looming. But no matter, life goes on.

I swear I will get around to returning your lovely comments. I appreciate the amazing regulars who read my dribble and comment every post, brings a tear to my eye :'-) Sending everyone virtual love, good karma and lollipops!

  2. It is amazing how even simple photographs of yours are so evocative. Really rainy and stormy over here, too.

  5. "Poking at wet sausages, whilst standing in a puddle, whilst holding an umbrella" I've totally done that!! It makes the bbq fume-smell not stay in your clothes and hair as much hehe. I like the pattern that the grille makes on your blinds :)

  6. That's so crazy. The opposite is happening here. Usually October is bitter cold and rainy, but it was super hot and humid the other day. People up here are like freaking out.
