This morning we (do I even say 'I' any more...) woke up bright and early-ish to eat breakfast by the beach before uni. This may have been partly my doing as I wistfully wished aloud about desperately wanting to go all week. So today was perfect for it; so perfect in fact that by 9am- when I took these photos- it was absolutely sweltering.
Favourite picture taken today. Finally caught him unaware as he stood by himself squinting into the distance. This is about after 30 attempts of getting a photo of him where he isn't squirming, swatting the camera or darting away. But yes, favourite photo of the dude who somehow manages to continually surprise me.
I'm not sure why my feet look so extraordinarily small here. Moment of the morning: when the tide crept up on us and soaked my carefully preserved feet. Cue my leather sandals rapidly expanding and flopping loosely off my foot. So yes I went to uni in sandy, damp feet and shoes. Guess I love the beach so much I decided to take it with me....
Anyway, I'm not sure I really like how these photos turned out. But then again, no-one takes their best photos when they're having fun right?! Glad I got to document it though, as I'm looking over them remembering about how good my morning was in comparison to now. Feeling disappointed, out of it, and looking for every other reason to not do what I'm supposed to be doing- hence the post. Ah well, moments pass and the future awaits. Have a lovely week my dears :)

Don't sell yourself short! I love these photos. I am amazed that you can take pictures of something ordinary and make it look so beautiful. Even when you're having fun and distracted, your photographs here don't look like the commonplace beach ones. You have a real talent here, Annie!

ReplyDeleteehhh your favourite photo is of his back?? Not of him making a cute expression? :P hehe
ReplyDeleteThe photos are more fine, Annie! And the beach is a perfect way to kick off uni. That's coming from a beach lover :P
ReplyDelete@ miss.tea, unfortunately it is rather difficult to catch a photo of his face, let alone of him pulling a cute expression!

The photos are stunning, as always!! I especially love the first one. It's perfect, right down to the single trail of footprints along the sand.
