I'm back! Arrived back in Sydney late last night in torrential rain. Lovely.
The past 2 weeks have been full of 5-6am wake-ups in 6 different hotels, a jumble of overwhelming smells, sights and sounds, trawling around in a mini bus to the most remote places, flying to even more remote places, extreme changes between 38 degree humidity in a sweltering city to snow and fog in the mountains. But more on that so so soon!
This morning I woke up early in my own bed, warm comfortable. Uni. Met up with R and later joined the girls for Ash's bday dinner. (Happy birthday dear friend!) Realised I spent the whole day with the boy- how typical. But more than that, this feeling is home and I love it.
The picture is one of the very few taken with me actually on the other side of the lens. Meet my friend, a yak who in all honesty looks bored out of his mind but this was definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Apologies for the poor quality, I will soon be sifting through 17gbs of photos (how?!) so I can share my trip with you.
Peace!
