1st day of uni

4 more days until the "monthly chum meet-up"

5 textbooks/books that need to be bought

I think that about sums it up! My first thought today was "oh god I need more sleep" but of course, being FULL of trepidation about the First Day of Uni- like most people I assume- I leaped out of bed full of joy and fueled by the excitement of Learning. Hahaha I wish. Whilst I am so so glad to finally put my brain to some use after a couple of months of vegetating, today was soo far from invigorating. "Easing in" time? Couldn't help but miss this a bit:

 Doing things like stealing school Post-it notes  for "personal purposes" was  probably one of the reasons why I dont think my bio teacher liked me...

Despite the contrast between that and me falling asleep in the chem lecture, Im liking it, partly because of the shiny-new feeling of  "This year, I'm going to be a fucking academic STAR!" (Seriously I will be though)

So despite the general underwhelming nature of the First Day, I'm glad. I suppose the Firsts in life NEVER end up or feel the way you expect them to.
